One of my friends got engaged to her girlfriend today, pending legislation in Washington to let them get married. Funnily enough, it IS possible to announce good news without oversharing, being condescending to your single friends, or transforming into instant Bridezilla (I assume they’re both brides even though my friend proposed. Not quite sure how that works). She’s just genuinely happy and her friends are happy for her. It’s a nice palate cleanser
